Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has licensed a number of Nickelodeon preschool shows in Mexico and Brazil, including the animated hit Rusty Rivets.

TV Cultura in Brazil went for the first season of Rusty Rivets and Nella the Princess Knight, both of which are premiering this month on the channel. TV Cultura also snapped up the third installment of PAW Patrol as well as the second season of Blaze and the Monster Machines, Dora and Friends and Shimmer and Shine.

Over in Mexico, Imagen acquired a variety of Nick Jr. content for its weekend kids’ slot, including the first installment of Shimmer and Shine, Team Umizoomi, Dora and Friends and Bubble Guppies.

Lauren Marriott, the VP of international program sales at VIMN, remarked: “The appetite for our preschool content is stronger than ever, with children being entertained by our shows in all corners of the globe and across all platforms. This latest slate of Nick Jr. sales is testament to its high-quality production and its wide-ranging international appeal.”

“These recent deals with TV Cultura and Imagen allow us to bring our hit preschool content to more viewers throughout Brazil and Mexico,” added Guillermo Borensztein, the VP of sales and co-productions at VIMN Americas. “We are happy to continue providing excellent programming to our partners in order to help expand their content offering.”
