VANAS Opens Production Management Program

Vancouver Animation School (VANAS) has begun accepting applications for its new Production Management in Digital Entertainment course.

The new one-year online program specializes in learning how to oversee an entire production for animation, visual effects and video games. Teachers include Neha Pasricha, who worked on productions such as The Dog & Pony Show and Daniel Spellbound, and Kajal Patil, who contributed to Sausage Party: Foodtopia, Happy House of Frightenstein and Alice’s Wonderland Bakery.

Through lectures, readings and practical exercises, students will learn the basics of planning, executing and controlling projects across different industries. The course covers topics such as project scope, pipeline basics, breakdowns and other business production-related aspects.

Classes are set to begin on September 23.
