Univision Snaps Up The World Is Yours


Sabbatical Entertainment has sold the educational series The World Is Yours to Univision Communications.

The 52×24-minute series takes young viewers on an exciting journey of discovery around the world. Each episode explores important and unique locations from across the globe, teaching kids and their families about the cultures, history and attractions that make them special. The World Is Yours premieres on UniMás early next year.

In addition, Univision Communications recently acquired Kids’ Planet from Sabbatical Entertainment. Both projects are produced in partnership with CIC MEDIA, a production house owned by Marlon Quintero.

The World Is Yours converts a traditional travel format into a series that is entertaining, fun, and at the same time truly educates viewers on the world around them,” said Miguel Somoza, the CEO of Sabbatical Entertainment. “Univision is a tremendous partner and I am thrilled to contribute to their slate, with valuable and meaningful content.”
