Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan Returns to Nick

The second season of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan is set to premiere on Nickelodeon on August 23.

Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan follows hip-hop mogul-in-training Dylan (Dylan Gilmer) as he continues his pursuit of stardom and involves his family in humorous hijinks along the way. In the premiere episode of season two, Dylan is preparing to return to Chicago with his mother when a change in plans makes him question their relationship.

Joining Dylan in his journey to rap star fame are his uncle Myles (Carl Anthony Payne II), aunt Yasmine (Mieko Hillman), grandmother Viola (Aloma Lesley Wright), cousins Rebecca (Celina Smith) and Charlie (Hero Hunter) and Rebecca’s best friend Bethany (Jet Miller).

Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan is executive produced and created by Tyler Perry. Michelle Sneed serves as executive producer, with Will Areu and Mark E. Swinton serving as producers. Production of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan for Nickelodeon is overseen by Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, co-heads of Nickelodeon and Awesomeness live action. Brian Banks serves as Nickelodeon’s executive in charge of production.
