TV Kids Summer Festival to Host Panel on Program Financing

Serious Kids’ Genevieve Dexter, Cyber Group Studios’ Raphaëlle Mathieu, MIAM! animation’s Hanna Mouchez and Monster Entertainment’s Andrew Fitzpatrick are set to take part in a panel focused on program financing during the TV Kids Summer Festival, which you can register for here.

Dexter is the founder and CEO of the distribution company Serious Kids and production outfit Eye Present. Mathieu is executive VP of Cyber Group Studios. Mouchez is the founder and CEO of MIAM! animation. Fitzpatrick is the chairman and founder of Monster Entertainment. Together, the executives will discuss the complexity of the market, the role of private equity, tailoring financing to each project, evolving co-production models and the importance of passion for a show in securing its funding.

These executives join the TV Kids Summer Festival roster alongside previously announced speakers Nickelodeon’s Jules Borkent, BBC’s Patricia Hidalgo, Super RTL’s Thorsten Braun, Warner Bros.’ Amy Friedman, Paramount’s Layla Lewis, POP Channels’ Francesca Newington, Sensical’s Bethany Boles, De Agostini Editore’s Brenda Maffuchi, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’s Bruce W. Smith, Nelvana’s Pam Westman, ZDF Studios’ Katharina Pietzsch, The Jim Henson Company’s Halle Stanford, Sesame Workshop’s Ed Wells and Kay Wilson Stallings, Jetpack Distribution’s Dominic Gardiner, WildBrain’s Caroline Tyre and Guru Studio’s Jonathan Abraham.

The TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.
