TV Kids Summer Festival Panel to Feature Rai, BBC, PBS & DR Execs

The TV Kids Summer Festival will include a panel on the vital role of children’s programming on public broadcasters, featuring Rai’s Luca Milano, BBC’s Sarah Muller, PBS’s Linda Simensky and DR’s Niels Lindberg.

Milano is the executive director of Rai Ragazzi in Italy. Muller is the head of BBC Children’s commissioning and acquisitions 7-plus in the U.K. Simensky serves as head of PBS KIDS content in the U.S. Lindberg is commissioning editor for DR Ramasjang and DR Minisjang at Denmark’s DR. Together, the panelists will discuss the directives and mandates guiding their acquisitions and commissioning strategies, the value of pubcasters in the evolving kids’ content landscape and the current state of public broadcasting.

The TV Kids Summer Festival, which is being held from June 7 to 10, will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the children’s content community today.
