TV Kids Screenings Festival: Melnitsa Animation Studio

A purple alien makes Earth home in Moonzy, a preschool production that Melnitsa Animation Studio is showcasing in the TV Kids Screenings Festival.

In the edutainment adventure, Moonzy, who was born on the Moon, comes to Earth to find a new home and make friends. Though Moonzy is different, everybody loves him because of his kind nature. Moonzy and his friends empower kids to understand the basic concepts of social relations.

“Moonzy is a very positive, safe show full of love and kindness, which is especially important nowadays,” says Sveta Barabanshchikova, director of international business development. “Entertaining small kids, we are teaching them principles of equality and empathy. In many episodes, Moonzy helps preschoolers to make their first steps in ecological education.”
