The Good Dinosaur Merchandise Hits Retail

GLENDALE: Disney Consumer Products (DCP) has launched a new line of merchandise based on the upcoming Disney/Pixar animated film The Good Dinosaur, which makes its theatrical debut on November 25.

The Good Dinosaur follows Arlo, an Apatosaurus who goes on a life-changing adventure with his human friend Spot. DCP's cross-category product line includes figures and plush, apparel and accessories, home décor and novelty items from Disney Store and licensees TOMY and Just Play, among others. The brand is also being extended through Disney Publishing Worldwide's Disney Press titles, a storytelling app with original sound and video clips from the film, and Little Golden Books by Random House with formats ranging from leveled readers to board books to storybooks.

The Good Dinosaur products are available for purchase at mass and specialty retailers around the U.S., Disney Store locations and the Disney Store website, which also offers a Personalized Shop that allows fans to customize such items as tech accessories, school supplies, apparel and party invitations with their favorite characters from the movie.

"Dinosaurs fascinate kids and adults alike, and Pixar Animation Studios' unique take on our prehistoric friends has allowed us to bring a whole new level of personality and storytelling to products for fans of all ages," said Josh Silverman, the executive VP of global licensing at Disney Consumer Products.
