Video Interview: The First Snow of Fraggle Rock’s John Tartaglia

The characters of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock—a reboot of The Jim Henson Company’s ’80s puppet show—experience their own bit of holiday magic in the new special The First Snow of Fraggle Rock, out now on Apple TV.

As the Fraggles await the first snowfall of the season, their plans and traditions are ruined when only one snowflake arrives. Gobo can no longer write their yearly holiday song, and, for the first time ever, he journeys to the human world. As he travels into unfamiliar territory, he and his friends, still back home, learn that beautiful moments aren’t always perfect and that new traditions can be forged.

John Tartaglia, puppeteer of Gobo, sat down with TV Kids Weekly to talk about what this new journey allowed him to explore with the character, what it was like working with guest star Lele Pons and what he hopes families take away from watching the festive film.
