TF1 & Cyber Group Partner for New Animated Show

TF1, Cyber Group Studios, Supamonks Studios and La Chouette Compagnie are currently developing Droners, a new animated comedy adventure series based on an original idea by Pierre de Cabissole and Sylvain dos Santos.

Set in a world that is 95-percent covered by oceans, Droners follows Corto, Arthus, Enki and Mouse as they team up to win a drone race called the Whale Cup. The future of their archipelago, which is being threatened by marine submersion, depends on their victory in this tournament. The 26×26-minute show is meant for young viewers between the ages of 6 and 10.

Yann Labasque, the director of TF1’s youth programming, said: “It’s a real pleasure to launch together with our partners this new adventure. Droners promises to be more than a simple series on drones. Its beautiful graphic world and its related characters will let us create strong stories that will climax in the most spectacular drone races ever!”
