Mattel and WildBrain have inked a raft of new international distribution deals for the animated kids’ shows Fireman Sam and Polly Pocket, based on the popular Mattel brands.

The first batch of episodes from season five of Polly Pocket, co-produced by Mattel Television Studios and WildBrain Studios, is set to land on Netflix this month.

WildBrain and Mattel have revealed that Fireman Sam is headed into a 16th season, while Polly Pocket is gearing up for its sixth.

Polly Pocket is set to make its exclusive free-TV premiere in the U.K. next month on POP.

Magikbee and WildBrain have closed a deal to license seasons 9 through 11 of Mattel’s classic Polly Pocket series for the streaming platform KidsBeeTV.

Mattel is developing the Polly Pocket brand into a live-action motion picture.

Mattel Television and WildBrain have greenlit a 13th season of Fireman Sam as well as a third season of Polly Pocket, based on Mattel’s original micro-scale doll brand.

DHX Media and Mattel have given the green light for a 26-episode sophomore run of Polly Pocket, an animated series based on the micro-scale doll brand of the same name, and both seasons have already sold to Universal Kids.

The new animated series Polly Pocket has been picked up by 16 broadcasters internationally, including in the U.K., Latin America and the Middle East.
