Japan’s NHK has picked up both seasons of the live-action children’s series Hardball from the Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF).

Hardball, a live-action comedy series from Northern Pictures that launched successfully on ABC TV in Australia earlier this year, is set to be available for screening at MIPJunior.

Northern Pictures has begun filming in Sydney for the live-action scripted show Hardball, which is slated for broadcast on ABC Me in Australia.
