Mattel has introduced a brand-new Fisher-Price Barney toy line, inspired by the return of the purple dinosaur in the new animated series Barney’s World.

Warner Bros. Discovery has picked up Mattel Television and Nelvana’s new animated series Barney’s World for Cartoonito on Cartoon Network and Max.

Mattel is bringing back the iconic Barney franchise, with a brand-new animated series set to debut globally in 2024.

Mattel has joined forces with the production companies 59% and Valparaiso Pictures to develop a live-action motion picture based on Barney, its iconic purple dinosaur.
