Superights has acquired the distribution rights to The Horn Quartet: Up to the Mountain, the second kids’ special from the series, and has already made international deals for the title.

The Horn Quartet: Up to the Mountain was produced by Vivement Lundi!, which also produced the series’ first special, The Horn Quartet: Cow Trip to the Sea. Superights has secured sales for the show with the Canadian national broadcaster Télé-Québec, the Irish channel TG4 and the Chinese distributor WeKids.

The 26-minute special follows the story of four cows—Clarisse, Marguerite, Aglaé and Rosine—who set off on new and exciting adventures in the mountains after discovering the sea in the first special. When then learn that their friend, the ram JB, has disappeared into a snow-covered peak, the heroines decide to go in search of him and save him from the terrifying Belêbelêê.

The first special has also been picked up by Télé-Québec, TG4 and WeKids, as well as by national broadcasters VRT (Belgium) and RTS (Switzerland) and the Thai pay-TV channel TrueVisions.
