Superights Scores Deals in Asia

Superights has signed a host of deals for several animated series in Hong Kong, Japan and Indonesia.

In Hong Kong, SVOD platform NowTV acquired multiple edutainment series. Among them is Croco Doc, co-produced by Croco Doc AIE, Buenpaso Films, Nuts Ideas and RTVE, which addresses health problems in a fun way.

NowTV also picked up Cross River Productions’ Handico and Superprod’s Helen’s Little School.

Japanese aggregator Me Interactive acquired Spark AS’s Bo Bear, Reaz’s Clay Time, Superprod’s Helen’s Little School and Pat the Dog season one, Le Regard Sonore’s Koumi’s Animated Picture Book and Nadasdy Film’s Zibilla.

In Indonesia, MoltaTV bought the SVOD rights for Clay Time; Koumi’s Animated Picture Book; Le Regard Sonore’s Moko, the young explorer; Handico; Cross River Productions’ Will; Pat the Dog season one; and Nadasdy’s Ralph and the Dinosaurs.
