Superights Picks Up Doopie

Superights has taken on the distribution rights for Doopie, a live-action series targeted at 3- to 5-year-olds.

Produced by the Dutch studio Submarine, Doopie features an eponymous lead character that is a plush toy who lives in a store and goes out into the world full of enthusiasm. The 26×7-minute series is meant to help children in their daily life learning process.

Nathalie Pinguet, Superights’ deputy general manager, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Submarine with this new title. Doopie comes to enrich our live-action catalog, showing his new cute yellow and charming character.”

Our plush hero Doopie meets a wide range of 26 different kids and embarks on a small story that we believe many kids will engage with. Doopie is made in close collaboration with Dutch pubcaster NTR, and Belgium partners Walking the DOG and KETNET, combining the best of our drama production talents with those of the animation world to create a cute preschool series.”
