Superights Adds New Seasons of Hit Series to Catalog

Superights’ catalog has expanded with new seasons of several of its hit series, including Koumi’s Animated Picture Book.

Le Regard Sonore is producing a second season of Koumi’s Animated Picture Book that will feature 52 brand-new episodes that will present another 52 animals to kids.

The new season of Koumi’s Animated Picture Book has already been sold to TFOU Max (France), Beijing Time Flying Fish (China), Now TV (Hong Kong) and Česká televize (Czech Republic).

Le Regard Sonore has also produced a spin-off of the series called Draw Animals with Koumi, where kids learn how to draw the 52 animals presented in season one. Season one is fully produced and ready for broadcast. A second season is already in production.

The Superights catalog also now includes a third season of Clay Time. Produced by Reaz, each episode of the series comes with a tutorial teaching kids how to make an animal with modeling clay. The third season will present 30 new animals in 30 new episodes. It has already been bought by by TéléQuébec (Canada), RTS (Switzerland), Now TV (Hong Kong) and beIN (UAE).

A second season of Croco Doc with 26 new episodes is part of the Superights catalog now, as well. Produced by Croco Doc AIE, Buenpaso Films, Nuts Ideas and RTVE, the new season includes episodes on pollen allergies, angina, nosebleeds and more. Season one was previously acquired by broadcasters such as TFOU Max (France), TVP (Poland), RTS (Switzerland), RSI (Switzerland), TIM (Italy), Now TV (Hong Kong), LTV (Latvia), Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (Mauritius), Mediacorp (Singapore) and Lingopie (U.S., U.K., Canada). Discussions are pending for season two.
