Superights has secured a deal with the toy company VTech for the international distribution rights to Go! Go! Cory Carson.

A preschool series based on VTech’s Go! Go! Smart Wheels line of electronic toy vehicles and playsets, Go! Go! Cory Carson centers on the titular orange car, who is learning to navigate childhood with the help of his sister, friends and family in Bumperton Hills.

Go! Go! Cory Carson originally aired on Netflix for its first worldwide window. Berkeley-based Kuku Studios produced the series, while Superprod Studio was entrusted with all CGI production. Superights will handle all linear broadcasting rights worldwide, except for China.

Nathalie Pinguet, deputy general manager at Superights, said: “We are proud and delighted to sign this deal with VTech. Go! Go! Cory Carson has a special place in our hearts as its production began at Superprod Studio and we’ve seen it grow and blossom. It is an amazingly lovely show and I have to say its storytelling reaches an emotional level that warms the hearts of both kids and parents. It also focuses on themes and values such as perseverance, family, hard work and caring for others in a light and profound way. I am confident that this unique series will resonate with broadcasters around the world.”

Andy Keimach, president at VTech Electronics North America, added: “Go! Go! Cory Carson has charmed parents and kids alike with high-quality animation and heartwarming stories. We are delighted with the success of the show and can’t wait for Superights to give Cory Carson an international audience so more families can discover the series.”
