Superights has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to Maelys’ Mysteries, a brand-new series from producer Nadasdy Films.

Currently in production, Maelys’ Mysteries follows the adventurous travels of the titular 10-year-old girl who is on the hunt for riddles to solve and ready to investigate mysteries along with her best friend Lucien. The series is based on the collection of books of the same name written by Christine Pompeï and illustrated by Raphaëlle Barbanègre.

Nathalie Pinguet, deputy general manager of Superights, said: “It is above all a pleasure to continue our collaboration with Nadasdy Films through this new program. The series perfectly complements the investigations and adventures theme of our catalog, a genre that remains very popular with children aged 4 to 10, girls and boys alike.”

Nicolas Burlet, president and founder of Nadasdy Films, said: “We are delighted to present to the public the adaptation of this great bookstore success and are confident that Superights will promote and bring this series to audiences around the world.”
