Studio 100 Media/m4e & Brandstätter Group Ink Licensing Deal for Heidi

Studio 100 Media/m4e and the Brandstätter Group, the parent company of toymaker Playmobil, have signed an extensive licensing agreement for Heidi.

As part of the multiyear deal, Playmobil figures of characters from Studio 100 Media/m4e’s CGI Heidi series and the forthcoming theatrical feature are planned. There are also various playsets inspired by Heidi’s adventures and other product innovations slated for 2020.

The agreement between the companies, which will jointly implement moving image content, covers the worldwide rights, excluding some territories in Asia.

“We are happy to have found such experienced partners in the kids’ entertainment area as Studio 100 Media/m4e,” said the Brandstätter Group in a statement. “The joint processing of licensing themes challenges new creativity and promises new play experiences that will inspire kids in the long term. We are looking forward to many high-value products, in the physical as well as in the digital area.”
