Studio 100 Film Adds North to Animation Slate

Studio 100 Film has acquired the Norwegian CGI film North, produced by PictoryLand, for sales outside of Scandinavia.

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale The Snow Queen, the new film follows the journey of Gerda, a young girl who embarks on a dangerous mission to save her best friend from the Snow Queen.

The film is being directed by Bente Lohne and produced by Haakon Gundersen (Flight of the Navigator, Free Jimmy). Pixar Animation co-founder Ralph Guggenheim (Toy Story) is a consulting producer. North is set for delivery in Q4 2024.
