Brazil’s Rockhead Studios has partnered with Canada’s Sardine Productions to develop its Starlit Adventures franchise into an animated TV series.

The series (52×11 min.) will target 4- to 6-year-olds. It is based on the Starlit Adventures IP, which was introduced in 2015 and has reached over 10 million gamers and 100,000 e-book readers worldwide.

‘’We are pleased to be working with Sardine on the adaptation of our IP,” said Rockhead Studios CEO Christian Lykawka. “Their experience in developing series from games such as Chop Chop Ninja (Teletoon Canada, Nickelodeon) will be instrumental for this project and the future development of our brand.”

‘’We not only fell in love with the rich and distinctive universe of Starlit Adventures but were impressed by the quality and creativity of the Rockhead team,” said Ghislain Cyr, founder and president of Sardine Productions. “We’ve been looking for an opportunity to work with a Brazilian studio for many years, and we are looking forward to turning this co-production into an international success.’’
