Federation Kids & Family has licensed the animated series Squish to the POP channel in the U.K., where it will debut next month.

Based on the original book series by New York Times best-selling authors Jennifer and Matthew Holm and developed by John Derevlany, Squish is a comedy about an amoeba and his friends. Squish debuts on POP on June 6 and will air on weekdays at 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The series is produced by Cottonwood Media and co-production partner Planeta Junior.

Francesca Newington, director of the POP Channels, said: “We’re really pleased to be launching Squish on POP this June because it’s the perfect fit for the channel. It’s high-energy, visually vibrant and packed with humor in every episode—we’re sure our audience of 6- to 10-year-olds will love it.”

Monica Levy, head of sales at Federation Kids & Family, said: “We are so happy and proud that Squish has found a perfect platform home in the U.K. We are confident that Squish and POP will be a great partnership making kids smile all over Great Britain!”
