Spotlight: Cookbook Media

Cookbook Media’s catalog includes the animated comedy Big & Ridiculous, created by Greg Grabianski (Beavis and Butthead), based on his experience growing up in a blended family.

“Blended families are increasingly common and yet not often portrayed in loving, angst-free stories,” says Claudia Scott-Hansen, partner. “When we read the scripts, we were completely charmed by them.”

Monkey Sing Monkey Do explores social-emotional themes through song and dance. The nonverbal slapstick comedy Toof & Doof centers on two dinosaurs.

“We love that these three shows have heart and comedy at the forefront,” Scott-Hansen adds.
