Sony Pictures Networks India has unveiled a slate of seven new animated series, all produced by YAY! Animations.

Among the new shows is W.H.A.T. & the Dog, a comedy series following the adventures of a resourceful stray dog as he searches for food, water, shelter and affection.

When the dog finds a house inhabited by a human family and their four pets, the location becomes a battleground between the dog’s determination for shelter and love and the pets’ efforts to keep him away. There are 78 episodes of 7 minutes available.

The kids’ slate also features Young Achievers, a 52×11-minute show that is developed in collaboration with PowerKids Entertainment. Designed for kids 6 and older, it follows extraordinary young talents excelling in their respective fields, from aviation and skydiving to underwater exploration, spy training, martial arts and advanced combat operations.

Omi No. 1 revolves around Omi, a privileged 9-year-old boy who is the sole heir to an Indian milk magnate. He is pampered by his opulent family and remains blissfully unaware of the outside world, until he enters school life. There are 104 episodes of 11 minutes available.

There are four animated series for adults on the slate as well, including Karna—The Guardian, hailing from India along with Japanese studio Ascension; Uncanny Short Stories—Satyajit Ray, an adaptation of 13 short stories written by Satyajit Ray; The Besiegement, a horror show; and Makeup My Life, delving into the insecurities faced by teenage girls.
