Sky Kids has unveiled two new originals set to debut later this year, including the music series MC Grammar: Rap Tales and a gaming show featuring popular YouTubers.

Award-winning teacher-turned-rapper Jacob Mitchell headlines MC Grammar: Rap Tales, an animated series in which each episode tells a contemporary version of a classic fairy tale. Mitchell and the Grammar Gang morph into fairy-tale characters with a modern twist, such as Jack and the Beat-stalk and Goldi-rocks.

Following the success of the first two seasons of Let’s Game, a new spin-off, Let’s Game: Worldbuilders will be coming to Sky Kids later this year. YouTube gamers DanTDM, Yammy, Jelly, Slogo, LDShadowLady, EthanGamer and I am Sanna will take on a series of challenges such as speed building, build-offs and more.

These join the already announced upcoming series Pip and Posy: Let’s Learn, a brand-new off-shoot from the hit show based on books by Gruffalo-illustrator Axel Scheffler. The new show will see Pip, Posy and their friends use their imagination to explore a range of concepts from the early years curriculum.

Also coming to the channel is Isadora Moon, adapted from author and illustrator Harriet Muncaster’s international best-selling book series. It follows 8-year-old half-fairy half-vampire Isadora Moon, who chooses to go to human school.

“We are delighted to bring four great new premium shows to Sky Kids,” said Lucy Murphy, director of kids’ content at Sky UK. “From early years learning with the gorgeous Pip and Posy and world building with huge talent from the gaming world via another great format to MC Grammar’s earworm raps and the joy of the world of Isadora Moon, there really is something for children of all ages to fall in love with.”
