Sinking Ship Entertainment has partnered with Lion producer Aquarius Films to finance and distribute the kids’ live-action adventure series The Unlisted.

The 15×30-minute series tells the story of 12-year-old twins Dru and Kal as they work with a group of underground vigilante kids to stop powerful governments from gaining global control over the world’s youth populations. Sinking Ship picked up the series for worldwide distribution.

The Unlisted is produced in association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and is aimed at kids aged 8 to 12 and their families. The series is in the final stages of financing and will be shot in Australia later in 2018. It is expected for delivery in fall 2019.

The Unlisted fits in perfectly alongside other Sinking Ship Entertainment properties, as it has a similar adventurous spirit and tone to Sinking Ship originals,” said Marilyn Kynaston, the head of sales for Europe at Sinking Ship Entertainment. “With the producers’ pedigree behind it, and a story that is timely and exciting, we think this series will be of great interest. These kinds of shows are a distributor’s dream.”
