Sinking Ship Seals Deals for Five Series

Sinking Ship Entertainment has secured new deals for five of its children’s series with broadcasters around the world.

The company has inked new broadcast licenses for four shows created by Sinking Ship Founder and Executive Producer J.J. Johnson, including Annedroids, Chirp, Dino Dana and Endlings. New deals were also secured for Odd Squad, a live-action math and science comedy show for school-age children from Fred Rogers Productions and Sinking Ship.

Annedroids has been picked up by SVT (Sweden), NRK (Norway) and relicensed to Knowledge Kids and TVOKids (Canada). Chirp was relicensed by CBC (Canada). Dino Dana is set to land on Coupang (South Korea) and Astro (Malaysia and Brunei) via Bomanbridge; and Hop! (Israel, season four, and a relicense on season one). Endlings has been picked up by SVT (Sweden, season two). Lastly, Odd Squad was acquired by Netflix Canada and has been relicensed for India and German-speaking Europe. Deals were also inked for the series with Hop! (Israel, season three), Coupang (South Korea, two seasons via Bomanbridge), CBBC (U.K., relicense of season one) and SVT (Sweden, season two relicense).
