TORONTO: Sinking Ship Entertainment, the producer behind kids’ shows such as Annedroids and Dino Dan, has extended and expanded its worldwide administration and A/V deal with rights management company ole.

As part of the deal, ole will continue to handle music publishing administration and A/V secondary rights for Sinking Ship, including for its live-action puppet series Playdate. Additionally, Sinking Ship will now be able to access the existing library of Jingle Punks, ole’s production music division, as well as the unit’s custom composition services. Furthermore, ole will now handle administration of Sinking Ship’s audio masters, including sync representation and neighboring rights/SoundExchange royalties.

“Sinking Ship is building an amazing global success story, and ole is pleased to continue to ensure that their worldwide collections are complete,” said Robert Ott, the chairman and CEO of ole. “Adding support for Sinking Ship Creative with access to our branded music offering via Jingle Punks is a welcome expansion of our relationship.”

“Working with ole has been a great experience, and we are thrilled to take our relationship with them to the next level,” said Blair Powers, a producer and partner at Sinking Ship. “We know ole will ensure we receive the maximum benefits from our music rights in the many countries throughout the world where Sinking Ship shows are aired.”
