Shout! Factory Inks Deal for Toei’s Digimon Film Series

LOS ANGELES: Shout! Factory and Toei Animation have signed a new multi-picture agreement to bring the hit action/adventure anime film series Digimon Adventure tri to the home-entertainment marketplace.

The multi-year pact gives Shout! Factory the exclusive North American broadcast and home-entertainment distribution rights for the first three feature-length, English-language movies from the Digimon Adventure tri film series, including DVD, Blu-ray—which will also include the original Japanese audio with English subtitles—and EST digital rights. Shout! Factory is planning a strategic home-entertainment rollout of the new films, starting with the first title, Digimon Adventure tri—Reunion, this year.
