Sensical has landed new deals with content partners, while parent company Common Sense Networks has secured carriage for the Sensical 8 service, targeting kids 8 to 10, on The Roku Channel.

From Cyber Group Studios, Sensical has added to its slate Gigantosaurus. It also picked up WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures.

New digital-first video content creators and studios alliances include Edutainment’s Super Geek Heroes, Little Smart Planet and Sir Linkalot; Goes To Eleven Media’s In a World Music Kids series; Hammershark Media’s Twenty Trucks and Truck Tunes videos; History For Humans; Look, Listen & Learn; Simple Alien Inc.’s FoodTeenies; and The Wise Channel, along with nature shorts from Marty Calabrese and Valji Varia and videos from art teacher Bethany Thiele.

Sensical also added to its podcast library via a new alliance with public media organization PRX. With this new deal, Sensical will license five of the audio company’s popular kids’ podcasts, including Molly of Denali and Pinkalicious & Perteriffic.

Sensical’s hand-selected, algorithm-free lineup for kids 8 to 10, called Sensical 8, is now available for free on The Roku Channel.
