Ryan’s World Adds Japanese Channel

Ryan’s World, one of the largest kids’ channels on YouTube, has launched in Japanese, featuring science experiments, games and more.

The first episode is now available on the channel, and it sees Ryan and his parents playing with a giant version of Hungry Hungry Hippos. The new channel also features fun challenges, educational topics, music videos, pretend play and more.

The idea to create a Japanese-language channel originated from Ryan’s father, Shion Kaji, who was born and raised in Japan. It was an ideal way for Ryan’s relatives in Japan to enjoy the family’s content on YouTube while also helping Ryan and the family discover the rich cultural history of Japan. With the goal of capturing a wider global audience, this new channel follows the release of Ryan’s World Español, a channel showcasing Spanish-dubbed episodes of Ryan’s World.

These channels are part of Ryan and his family’s 28-employee production company, Sunlight Entertainment, which currently manages nine YouTube channels: Ryan’s World, Ryan’s World Español, Ryan’s World in Japanese, EK Doodles, Ryan’s Family Review, Vtubers, Combo Panda, Gus the Gummy Gator and The Studio Space. Ryan’s channels have received over 41 billion views to date and amassed over 31 million subscribers.
