Nelvana has signed a broadcast deal with Sprout, the preschool destination of NBCU’s Universal Kids channel, that sees the original animated series Ranger Rob airing in the U.S.

Ranger Rob follows a ranger-in-training around the Big Sky Park, where he participates in such adventurous activities as zip-lining and snowboarding. The first two seasons, which total 40 episodes, premiered on Sprout earlier this month, airing on weekdays at 8 a.m. and weekends at 9:30 a.m. The show also broadcasts Monday through Friday on Treehouse in Canada.

“We are thrilled to work with leading broadcaster Sprout and bring the wonder of Ranger Rob to audiences in the U.S.,” said Pam Westman, the head of Nelvana Enterprises. “The series is all about igniting a sense of adventure and curiosity in kids, and we are delighted to share Ranger Rob’s adventures to a new set of fans and encourage even more kids to explore and discover the world around them.”
