Powerkids Entertainment Scores New Broadcast Deals

Powerkids Entertainment has signed a raft of new broadcast deals for multiple shows in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

For French-speaking Europe and Africa, Canal+ extended its rights for two seasons of The Jungle Book and its two TV specials, as well as its spin-off show, The Jungle Book Safari.

Astro picked up season one of The Jungle Book and its two TV specials for Malaysia.

In India, Unique TV bought three seasons of The Jungle Book and one season of The Psammy Show. Chie Media also took three seasons of The Jungle Book and one TV special, as well as Lassie and two TV specials for The New Adventures of Peter Pan. ETV took the rights for The Jungle Book’s fourth season and renewed its rights for season one of The Jungle Book Safari and season two of Robinhood. Tata Play licensed season three of The Jungle Book.

MBC acquired Powerkids’ new show Dragonero—Tales of Paladins for the Middle East and North Africa.

New Zealand’s TVNZ also licensed Dragonero—Tales of Paladins, as well as The Psammy Show.

Also, Hong Kong’s HKTVE picked up seasons one and two of Wissper.
