Power Rangers Cosmic Fury to Bow on Netflix

A global Netflix premiere date for Power Rangers Cosmic Fury has been set for September 29.

A brand-new theme song has been composed and arranged by Bert Selen for the show’s season 30 debut. The original Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger star David Yost also appears in all ten episodes, returning as Billy Cranston to assist the Cosmic Fury team in fighting their latest threat.

The core cast of Rangers also features Russell Curry as Zayto, Hunter Deno as Amelia Jones, Kai Moya as Ollie Akana, Tessa Rao as Izzy Garcia, Chance Perez as Javi Garcia, Jordon Fite as Aiyon and Jacqueline Joe as Fern. Simon Bennett serves as executive producer.

When enemy Lord Zedd returns, his rampage extends to the farthest reaches of space. Audiences can anticipate seeing the Rangers’ new powers, costumes, weapons and Zords as they fight Lord Zedd in the upcoming season.

With 30 continuous years on the air, Power Rangers has become one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history with more than 900 episodes aired to date. The series celebrated its 30th year with an anniversary special entitled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, streaming now on Netflix.
