Portfolio Adds CBC Kids Show Addison to Catalog

Portfolio Entertainment has secured the global rights for the animated mystery series Addison, commissioned by CBC Kids, outside of Canada.

Addison follows the adventures of a 7-year-old inventor who solves neighborhood mysteries with her friends. The STEM-centric show, which is executive produced by Charles Bishop for Halifax’s Six Eleven Media, is meant for young viewers between the ages of 4 and 6. The first season is currently available, with the second installment starting production early next year.

“Portfolio has a reputation for providing kids and families with entertaining and educational content,” said Joy Rosen, CEO and co-founder of Portfolio. “We got off to a running start at MIPJunior with this show, and we are confident that this trend will continue as Addison seems to be very of the moment.”
