The U.K. channels Pop and Tiny Pop will host the free-to-air debut of two kids’ shows, including the hit preschool series Dino Ranch.

Produced by Boat Rocker Studios and Industrial Brothers, Dino Ranch originally premiered in the U.K. on Disney+ in April 2021. Beginning April 2, U.K. preschoolers will be able to tune into the adventures of the dinosaurs on Tiny Pop every day.

“We’re delighted to saddle up with Tiny Pop to bring Dino Ranch, featuring the rousing adventures of the Cassidy family, to even more viewers in the U.K.,” said Gia DeLaney, senior VP of global sales for kids and family at Boat Rocker. “The show’s strong content sales and high ratings are testament to the hard work and creativity that went into producing this stand-out series with strong global appeal.”

Francesca Newington, director of the Pop channels, added, “We’re thrilled that Dino Ranch is joining our Tiny Pop lineup this April, as Boat Rocker has done an incredible job embedding heart and humor throughout the series. We can’t wait to see what our dino-loving audience of 4- to 6-year-olds make of it.”

In addition, Pop, a children’s channel for 6- to 10-year-olds, will become the free-to-air home of Skylanders Academy on April 25. From Activision Blizzard Studios, the series is based on the Skylanders video game series and follows the heroic adventures of a team of young warriors as they protect their universe from evil.

Seasons one and two will air following its April 25 debut, with season three to come later this year.

“We’re delighted to bring fans of the popular Skylanders video game series more from the heroes they know and love with the free-to-air premiere of Skylanders Academy on Pop,” Newington said. “This series is beautifully produced and jam-packed with humour, magic and epic adventures; it’s sure to keep our viewers on the edge of their seats.”
