Disney Branded Television has slated the return of Phineas and Ferb for June 5 on Disney Channel and Disney XD.
In the brand-new season of the series, which hasn’t had new episodes since 2015, Phineas, Ferb and their friends tackle another 104 days of summer vacation. After the first two episodes premiere on Disney Channel and Disney XD on June 5, the first ten episodes will become available on Disney+ in the U.S. and select international markets the next day.
The episodes will also stream on Disney Channel On Demand.
In addition to the new season, new animated shorts will roll out on Disney Channel, Disney+ and other Disney-owned YouTube channels “Cartoonified with Phineas and Ferb” will see the duo interview real celebrities, while “Agent P, Under C” will follow Perry the Platypus as he takes on a new undercover mission to stop animal enemies from the rival spy organization A.N.A.T.H.E.M.A. (the Alliance of Nefarious Animals That Has an Exceptionally Memorable Acronym).
A variety of new products will accompany the new season, including the first Funko Pop! line inspired by the series. Marvel Comics will feature the characters of the series in a new set of Variant Covers for issues of Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men. Also, Phineas and Ferb: Classic Comics Collection, Volume 3 will include more of the duo’s adventures in the original release order.
The album Lofi: Phineas and Ferb, featuring ten songs from the original series reimagined in a lo-fi style, will be released on May 9. The original soundtrack, including 13 songs, will be available on June 6 on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and other digital platforms.
