Peanuts Specials Headline Family Channel’s Holiday Lineup

Family Channel in Canada is celebrating the season with a slate of holiday-themed features and episodes of its top series, three Peanuts Christmas specials and the chance to win a family vacation to Mexico.

A Charlie Brown Christmas will air on December 22 at 6 p.m., followed by It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown at 6:30 p.m. I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown will run on December 23 at 6 p.m.

Additionally, Family Channel is partnering with Air Transat to offer viewers the chance to win a family vacation through the Fun & Sun Contest.

Open now through Sunday, January 14, the contest gives families the opportunity to win an all-inclusive vacation for four to the Barceló Maya Colonial Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The Decem-brrr holiday lineup also features two full days of uninterrupted holiday programming on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

The schedule also includes special episodes from series like Dr. Ken, Speechless, Raising Expectations, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Malcolm in the Middle. Festive movies will include Jingle All the Way, Elf, The National Tree, Nativity!, Switchmas, Get Santa, Bob’s Broken Sleigh, How Murray Saved Christmas, Home Alone, Hank Zipzer’s Christmas Catastrophe and more.

The special lineup will continue after Christmas with movies and marathons airing daily. This will include back-to-back episodes of Alvinnn!!! and The Chipmunks and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir sandwiched between films such as Rio, Spy Kids and more. The post-Christmas lineup begins on December 26 at 9 a.m. with a Boxing Day marathon from Top Chef Jr. featuring eight back-to-back episodes.

Family Channel’s Decem-brrr programming will also be available on the Family Channel app. Family OnDemand will also offer holiday episodes of a range of shows as well.
