Brambletown, an original animated film from GRAMMY winners The Okee Dokee Brothers, is set to bow on July 26 on PBS KIDS.

The 35-minute stop-motion-style title, based on The Okee Dokee Brothers’ 2023 album of the same name, tells the story of two lifelong friends who return to their childhood home and find that things have changed. As they grow apart, experience new hurts and navigate major disruptions to their forest community, the friends learn that even in the darkest moments, they still have the power to heal.

The story is inspired by real-life friends Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing, The Okee Dokee Brothers.

Premiering on PBS KIDS shortly thereafter are new episodes of Lyla in the Loop on August 5.
