P. King Duckling Heads to Nordics

CANNES: SVT Sweden and YLE Finland have picked up UYoung and Little Airplane Productions’ animated series P. King Duckling.

The 52×11-minute series for kids aged 2 to 7 follows the adventures of a young duck and his two best friends, Chumpkins and Wombat, as they have adventures all over the world. P. King Duckling was created by Emmy Award-winning preschool TV producer Josh Selig of Little Airplane Productions in collaboration with James Chen Gu, the general manager of UYoung Animation.

The show is directed by UYoung’s creative director, Eddy Bo Fan, and is executive produced by Chen Gu and Selig. UYoung owns the global TV and licensing rights for the series.

Lisa Zhong, the president of UYoung, said, “At UYoung we are committed to creating and developing world-class animation content which appeals to both Chinese and international markets. P. King Duckling is our first offspring and we are thrilled to see him now traveling even further around the world to make many more new friends in the Nordics.”
