Nickelodeon Reveals 2017 Kids’ Choice Award Nominees

BURBANK: Nickelodeon has announced the nominations for this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards, which will be hosted live by WWE’s John Cena on Saturday, March 11, at 8 p.m. from USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Up for favorite kids’ television show are Game Shakers, Girl Meets World, Henry Danger, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn and The Thundermans. The nominees for best cartoon are ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teen Titans Go!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Amazing World of Gumball and The Loud House.

The Big Bang Theory, black-ish, Fuller House, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Supergirl and The Flash are nominated for favorite family program, while America’s Funniest Home Videos, America’s Got Talent, American Ninja Warrior, Paradise Run, Shark Tank and The Voice are in the running for best reality series.

The favorite male TV star category includes Benjamin Flores Jr. (Game Shakers), Aidan Gallagher (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), Jack Griffo (The Thundermans), Jace Norman (Henry Danger), Casey Simpson (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn) and Tyrel Jackson Williams (Lab Rats). The nominees for best female television star are Rowan Blanchard (Girl Meets World), Dove Cameron (Liv and Maddie), Lizzy Greene (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), Kira Kosarin (The Thundermans), Breanna Yde (School of Rock) and Zendaya (K.C. Undercover).

Starting today, kids can cast their votes across 28 categories—which also cover film, music and video games—on the Nickelodeon website and app, as well as through Twitter and Facebook.
