Nickelodeon Names New EVP of Unscripted

Rob Bagshaw has been tapped to take on the role of executive VP of unscripted content at Nickelodeon.

In his new position at the network, Bagshaw will be in charge of the development and production of unscripted content across all formats and platforms, including reality competition shows and Nickelodeon’s marquee live events such as the Kids’ Choice Awards and Kids’ Choice Sports. Bagshaw will report to Nickelodeon President Brian Robbins.

Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Bagshaw served as an executive producer on the forthcoming Priyanka Chopra YouTube series If I Could Tell You Just One Thing and E!’s The Funny Dance Show. Bagshaw previously was the senior VP and head of Bunim/Murray Productions’ New York office and held positions at BBC Worldwide Productions and Mentorn Media.

Robbins said: “Unscripted series are continually the most popular shows in every demo, and Rob has a proven talent for creating a wide range of hits. I’m excited to have him join our team, where he can use his experience and skills to create the next wave of fun, must-watch shows for our kids and family audience.”
