Nick Unveils New Ninja Turtles Toy Lines

NEW YORK: Nickelodeon is introducing new toy lines from Playmates Toys and Mega Bloks, inspired by the upcoming Paramount Pictures theatrical movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Starting next month, a full range of toys, including figures, vehicles and play sets based on the sequel to the 2014 blockbuster will become available. The Playmates Toys line will feature basic action figures, deluxe talking figures, 11-inch-high figures, vehicles such as the Turtle Tactical Truck, role play items like masks, and the Turtle Lair and Technodrome play sets, among other items. The Mega Bloks construction line will include buildable action figure assortments and vehicles. It will also feature construction play sets such as the TMNT Movie Lair Hideout and the TMNT Kraang Cryo Chamber. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows toys from Playmates Toys and Mega Bloks will be available at major mass retailers such as Walmart, Target, Toys“R”Us and Amazon, as well as at mid-tier, specialty, grocery, drug and value channels.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits theaters on June 3. The movie is directed by Dave Green, written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, and produced by Michael Bay. It stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Laura Linney, Stephen Amell, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson, Brian Tee and Tyler Perry.
