Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has picked up the new seventh season of Totally Spies! for Southeast Asia and South Korea from Banijay Kids & Family.

The new season, which comes after an 11-year hiatus, sees teen secret agents Sam, Clover and Alex go on their biggest adventure yet as they move to Singapore and face their trickiest nemesis. In Southeast Asia and South Korea, it will broadcast on various WBD platforms and networks, including Cartoon Network.

The new 26×22-minute season is produced by Zodiak Kids & Family France. It premiered in France on Gulli and in Latin America on Discovery Kids. It will air on WBD networks and platforms across EMEA and the U.S.

An eighth season of Totally Spies! has already been confirmed by commissioning broadcasters Gulli and Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. A live-action adaptation is also in development, produced by Banijay Kids & Family in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios and Gloria Sanchez Productions.

“The show’s dynamic blend of humor, action and girl power is as pertinent today as it was when it first launched in 2001,” said Delphine Dumont, chief commercial officer at Banijay Kids & Family. “The return of the spies has already been well-received by audiences in France and Latin America, and we are thrilled to bring the new adventures of Sam, Clover and Alex to Southeast Asia and South Korea too.”
