New Seasonal Activations for Strawberry Shortcake

WildBrain has scored new partnerships for several Strawberry Shortcake seasonal activations following the launch of the new Netflix special Strawberry Shortcake’s Perfect Holiday.

This includes a partnership with Duck Donuts, which is hosting an exclusive sweepstakes. Fans can submit a video via social media explaining how they and their best friend celebrate life’s sweet moments with the brand’s donuts for the chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Duck Donuts headquarters and receive a private screening of the new seasonal special.

Additionally, Duck Donuts has a Strawberry Shortcake-themed donut featuring strawberry icing, graham cracker crumbs and a marshmallow drizzle that will be highlighted as part of the collaboration.

A Strawberry Shortcake-themed event took place at The Candy Cottage of Christmas Magic at Rockefeller Center in New York City following WildBrain’s partnership with We Are Smile Studio, a company that creates immersive theatrical experiences. At the free event, registered guests had the opportunity to meet Strawberry Shortcake and enjoy branded sweet treats. They also received a recipe for Strawberry Shortcake’s Candy Cottage Peppermint Chocolate Cinnamon Buns, and the Rockefeller Center’s Café Grumpy offered a complimentary strawberry-infused holiday drink.

The event at Rockefeller Center also featured a new themed art installation from SpooksieBoo, and the first 300 fans received an exclusive SpooksieBoo collectible pin. Classic Strawberry Shortcake dolls from licensee Jay France were on display throughout the event as well.
