MUNICH: The kids' and family pay-TV channel Fix&Foxi has added new CGI-animated idents featuring the titular twin foxes and the other main Rolf Kauka characters in all of its broadcast territories around the world.

Subscribers of Fix&Foxi in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South and Central America are now able to watch HD idents starring Fix and Foxi along with Grandma Eusebia, Lupo, Lupini, Professor Knox and Family Peppercorns. The idents were commissioned by Your Family Entertainment (YFE) and produced by Gusto Studios. There are a total of ten new 20-second idents that will air all day long before and after the network's programming. Each one tells a humorous short story meant for children up to the age of 11.

Paul Robinson, YFE's executive VP of international channels, said: "These new idents reflect our continued investment in the Fix&Foxi channel in all markets and will help to deepen kid audiences with these beloved and endearing characters, whilst making the channel more 'must have' for pay-TV platforms around the world."

Laurence Robinet, the chief broadcast officer at YFE, added: "With the CGI version of Fix&Foxi, we have brought the successful concept of [comic artist] Rolf Kauka to the 3D world, keeping the harmony and attractivity of the classical 2D characters. All idents have been created with such a love for the details and they feature the humor and charm of the comics…. We can't wait for the reaction of the new but also older generation!"
