New Licensing Agency Planet Rights Launches

Planet Rights, a global entertainment and lifestyle licensing agency, has launched under the direction of Rob Goodchild as managing director and Laura Daniel as licensing manager.

The company will make its debut at Brand Licensing Europe in October, showcasing a lineup of brands that includes AstroBoy, Kitchen Disco, Little Rebels, Moley, The Land of Sometimes, WhatsitsFace and Wild Things Publishing.

Planet Rights is independently run but supported by the infrastructure of Two Daughters Entertainment. Goodchild and Daniel are supported by an experienced team with a track record of building and managing IP across organizations such as Aardman, STUDIOCANAL, Cartoon Network and the National Trust.

“Our mission is to partner with the world’s best creative businesses—locally and globally—to ensure their IP achieves its full potential through licensing, merchandizing and distribution,” Goodchild said. “Great brand and products mean the world to us, and we’re here to help them thrive.”
