Netflix Sets Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld Animated Series

Netflix has ordered the new animated series Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld from first-time showrunner Echo Wu and executive producers Ali Wong (Beef) and Aron Eli Coleite (Locke & Key).

The show will follow a Chinese-American teen living in a small Texas town who finds out that a demon king is hunting her for the supernatural powers she’s spent her whole life repressing. Wong will voice the lead character, supported by a cast including Bowen Yang, Lucy Liu, Lori Tan Chinn and more.

Additional voice cast includes Jimmy O. Yang, Sheng Wang and Woosung Kim. Titmouse is producing the series, with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina executive producing alongside Wong and Coleite.
