Nat Geo WILD Launches Kids’ Block

WASHINGTON, D.C.: Nat Geo WILD is launching a two-hour kids’ programming block that will run on Saturday mornings and feature, among other content, kid-friendly segments from animal-themed shows such as The Incredible Dr. Pol.

Nat Geo WILD KiDS will kick off this Saturday, March 5, at 7 a.m. The programming block will air each Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. It will offer educational content such as natural history, science and wildlife shows, including Nature Boom Time and WILD to Inspire.

The kids’ programming block will also feature popular videos from the Nat Geo Kids website, including 50 Birds, 50 States, a music video series with a rapping bald eagle; Real or Fake, a kid-on-the-street quiz show; and the series Freaky Creatures, featuring Mother Nature. Nat Geo WILD KiDS will showcase kid-friendly segments from Nat Geo WILD and National Geographic Channel shows such as Dog Whisperer, Everything You Didn’t Know About Animals, The Incredible Dr. Pol, Vet School, World’s Weirdest and Brain Games.
